Rescatame / Rescue me

A veces en nuestra vida, por diversos motivos, necesitamos de una mano amiga que nos ayude a ver mejor el camino a seguir.
A todos aquellos que no dudan en ayudar a todo aquel que los necesita y a todos los que me ayudaron la lo largo de mi vida, va mi sincero agradecimiento.

Cabeza de Mujer / Woman's Head

Esta es una escultura que modelé en arcilla, con modelo en vivo. Luego que la terminé de modelarla en arcilla, le puse los taseles, que son láminas finas de papel aluminio, para armar el molde que lo hice de yeso. La primer capa de yeso fue coloreada con tempera roja. Esto es porque el yeso es blanco, y cuando estoy cincelando tengo que tener una referencia de cuan cerca estoy de el cemento, entonces cuando veo el yeso de color rojo, ahi comienzo a cincelar con mucho cuidado, para no romper ninguna parte de la escultura. Después de que el yeso fraguó, saqué toda la arcilla, lo lavé y le pase cera al molde de yeso, uno todas las partes del molde, con agregandole yeso y lo cierro. Cerrar el molde significa, unir todas las partes como en un rompe cabezas. Una vez hecho este paso, cubrí todo el interior del molde con cemento y lo deje secar una semana. El interior es hueco, solo hice una capa de cemento de 5 centímetros de espesor.

This is a sculpture modeled in clay, with a live model. After the finished model it in clay, I put the Taselaar, which are thin sheets of aluminum foil, to assemble the mold that I made of plaster. The first layer of plaster was stained with red tempera. This is because the plaster is white, and when I'm carving I have to have a reference of how close I am to the cement, then when I see the red cast, there begin to chisel carefully so as not to break any part of the sculpture . After the set plaster, took out all the clay, washed it and pass it to the plaster mold wax, a mold all parties, with added gypsum and close. Close mold means, to unite all the parties as in a puzzle. Once this is done, I covered the entire inside of the mold with cement and let dry for a week. The interior is hollow, just did a layer of cement 5 cm thick.
The photos were taken in the backyard of my home in Argentina, a spring afternoon.

Palomas en el cielo de Navidad./ Birds in the Christmas Sky

Técnica: Pintura acrílica sobre lienzo.
Esta pintura la hice en vísperas de Navidad, cuando, mis hijos eran chiquitos y lo pusimos en nuestro primer arbolito de Navidad.
La idea era hacer algo entre nosotros para adornar la casa y que quedara de recuerdo en la casa. Años después, cuando volví a Argentina, lo encontré y me trajo a mi memoria todos esos días mágicos previos a Navidad que son siempre tan cálidos especiales y hermosos.

This painting I did on Christmas Eve, when my kids were little and we put on our first Christmas tree.
The idea was to do something with us to decorate the house and stay at home souvenir. Years later, when I returned to Argentina, I found it and brought me to my heart all those magical days before Christmas are always so special and beautiful warm.

Naturaleza Muerta / Still life

Naturaleza muerta, realizada en una amplia gama de colores tierra.
Conservo esta pintura con mucho cariño, porque como no tenía el dinero para comprar la tela para pintar, lo hice sobre un cartón. La idea es no dejar que las limitaciones nos paren, tenemos que seguir motivandonos y haciendo lo que realmente amamos.

Still Life, held in a wide range of earth colors.
I keep this painting with great care, because I did not have the money to buy fabric paint, canvas, so I did it on cardboard. The idea is to not let limitations stop us, we have to keep motivating us and doing what we really love.

Este dibujo, estuvo expuesto en la Galería de Arte ArtPoint en Calgary, Canadá en la primer exposición de arte que hice en este país.

Teoría de la relatividad de Einstein / Einstein's theory of relativity

Técnica Dibujo a tinta china.
Este es un boceto que probablemente termine siendo grabado cuando encuentre un taller en donde hacerlo.
La idea principal es reflejar parte del dolor que causan los políticos y corporaciones, encargados de mover las fichas del tablero de ajedrez de nuestras vidas, decidiendo las estúpidas guerras, jugando así con el dolor de la gente. Generando violencia, desnutrición y familias y pueblos enteros destruidos.
Por eso dibuje a Einstein agarrándose la cabeza de solo pensar en qué termino toda su teoría de la relatividad.

This is a sketch that is likely to be recorded when you find a workshop in which to do so.
The main idea is to reflect some of the pain caused by politicians and corporations, responsible for moving the chess pieces on the board of our lives, deciding the stupid wars, playing well with the pain of the people. Generating violence, malnutrition and families and entire villages destroyed.
So draw a holding Einstein's head just thinking about what ended his theory of relativity.

Prohibido hacer Guerra/ No War

Cuando mi hijo me invito a hacer la exposición junto con él en el Gato Negro , se me ocurrió preparar este cartel de "Prohibido hacer Guerra", que me parece debería estar en todo el mundo.
Creo que no hay más que explicar.

When my son invited me to make the exhibition together with him at the Black Cat Pub, I came prepared this lineup of "No to War", which I think should be all over the world.
I think there is no more to explain.
